All Areas Speech Pathology runs a 12-Topic Short Course on how to assist children with speech clarity, including how to use a step by step approach to deliver a range of Speech Articulation Programs.

The non-formal short course provide participants with information about Articulation Skills Development (also referred to as pronunciation skills or speech clarity).

The course is designed for people who are not speech pathologists but who have a role in helping with speech development (such as early childhood teachers, speech pathology assistants, learning support and class teachers  and early intervention providers).

Participants gain access to in-depth knowledge about how and when children learn to pronounce speech sounds and what to do if they have trouble mastering individual sounds at the right stage (for their age or level of development).

Whilst aimed at young children, the course is also applicable to helping older children, teenagers and adults.

Participants learn step by step instructions for delivering articulation programs with many opportunities to practise 'hands on' techniques. All aspects of the short course are conducted under the direction and guidance of a qualified speech pathologist.
